To ensure assessment is evaluated appropriately, daylight and sunlight calculations can be undertaken using specialist software, designed to perform calculations in full accordance with BRE report :

‘Site Layout Planning for Daylight and Sunlight – A Guide to Good Practice (BR209)’

This report considers the possible sunlight, daylight and overshadowing impact to existing adjacent properties.
